There are a lot of great screenshot apps that you can use to convey information to others. The first one I really liked was Lightshot, which is available for Windows, Mac, or as a Chrome extension. As I am back to using Ubuntu-based Linux distros for work, I needed a similar tool.
Update: 38 days into losing weight…
I set myself the task of losing 23 kgs (50 lbs) on the 16th of February. At that time I hit my record high weight at 108 kgs (238 lbs) and felt that it was a now or never situation to change my life. I thought about what and I wanted to do and wrote a blog post about my plans. Now, 38 days later I have some progress to report.
Force Janitor to work with your upgraded Kodi installation
Janitor is an addon for Kodi that will automatically scan your library for watched movies, TV show episodes and music videos based on criteria such as age, rating or free disk space. I set it up to delete what we already saw after 2 days except if it is in a protected folder. It is a great tool to free up disk space on your device, but if you upgrade to a version of Kodi that is not supported, it will be disabled and you will have to delete stuff manually again.
How to fix Kodi black screen after upgrading to a new version
Just had this happen to me. I didn't really watch what I was doing and issued the "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" command which for some weird reason removed Kodi from my system. After reinstalling it with "sudo apt-get install kodi" all I got was a black screen instead of the Kodi user interface.

Skipping YouTube ads in Chrome, Firefox, and Android
Ads are pretty annoying when you just want to look up something really quick on Youtube. Not as if they aren't annoying all the time, but when you are looking up instructions on CPR, you definitely don't need a long advertisement on hamburgers.
It’s time to prepare for sports after the pandemic
Like a lot of people, I too got a bit too lazy during the pandemic. Working from home, the closing of gyms and the shorter daylight periods all contributed to doing almost nothing in the fitness department. Now that we see the end in sight (which in my estimate will be late summer, early autumn), we can start preparing for when we return to a higher activity level.
Weight loss plan for 2021
Today morning I broke a new record when I stepped on the bathroom scale. Unfortunately, this is not an accomplishment to be proud of as my weight ballooned to 108 kg (238 pounds) this winter and I have never been this heavy before. This is pretty far from my ideal weight which should be between 63.3 and 85.6 kgs. Well, it's time to make a plan...
CloudReady – The easy way to set up Chrome OS on your computer
After publishing my last article about my experience with Chrome OS, the first reaction I got was why I didn't just install CloudReady instead of dealing with such a complicated installation method. The answer is simply that I had no idea that CloudReady even existed. It seems I'm pretty new to the Chrome OS game...
